Have you ever been called for an interview and not know what to wear? I recently faced this debacle. I could honestly say that I was more anxious about my outfit than the interview itself.
What you wear to an interview is important. Your clothes are a representation of who you are. It also contributes to the first impression your interviewer has of you.

My best advice is to wear natural with a small pop of color. For example, a nice simple black dress, black tights, a cream cardigan, and red kitten heels. Then accessorize with a delicate necklace and a watch. Do not over do it, especially with the accessories. In this situation, less is more. You don’t want to jingle jangle!
Also, pay attention to the details. Wear neutral makeup and style your hair conservatively. I typically curl or straighten my hair and pull half of it back so it is out of my face. I always do my nails in a neutral tone, light pinks are perfect! Chipped, unpolished nails make you look sloppy. At least put on a clear polish. Don’t forget to check tights for runs!
And remember, no matter what you wear, make sure you feel comfortable in it!
